The Vermont American 14466 is a 1-inch wood boring black oxide spade bit. A 15-degree chisel edge design is more positively angled to dig into wood, drilling holes faster than standard spade bits. Hardened and tempered for long life, the tool features precision ground spur and cutting edges for accurate positioning, quick penetration and smooth fast cuts. The 6" (150mm) long spade bit provides good wood chip removal in deep holes.
