OK Industries, a division of Jonard, features the complete PTX-KIT1DH Battery-Powered Tool Kit which includes a PTX battery-powered wire wrap/unwrap tool with reversible motor, dual-finger short-throw trigger and low-voltage LED, plus PTX-BC1 charger, 2-PTX-B 3.6V NiMH batteries, DFB224 Dual-Function Bit/Sleeve Set (22-24AWG) and ballistic nylon holster. Wire Wrap Tool's rugged housing encases a high-torque planetary gear drive that can wrap/unwrap 18 to 32 AWG wire. Compatible with the full range of industry-standard bits and sleeves.
The PTX lightweight wire wrapping tool has an ergonomic design with well-balanced construction, reversible motor, dual-finger short-throw trigger, low-voltage LED and long handle to reduce muscle strain. A recessed wrap/unwrap switch is easy to access and protected from impact if tool is dropped. Its rugged housing encases a high-torque planetary gear drive that can wrap or unwrap 18 to 32 AWG wire. Compatible with the full range of industry-standard bits and sleeves.
The 3.6-V battery requires an initial charge for at least eight hours. LED indicates battery is present in charger. When battery begins to lose its charge (at approximately 3.3 V), red LED begins to glow. At this point, depending on the application, the battery should still contain enough charge for several hundred additional wrapping or unwrapping operations.
The PTX-KIT1 includes PTX-1 battery-powered wire wrap tool, 115-V battery charger and two 3.6-V NiMH batteries. PTX-KIT1DH adds DFB224 Dual-Function Bit/Sleeve Set and ballistic nylon holster. Six-month warranty.
