Irwin Tools 6424 Hex Machine Screw Die, #8-32 Thread Size

The Irwin Tools 6424 Thread Die 8-32 NC (32 threads per inch), made from high-carbon steel, is recommended for maintenance and repair work with hexagon die stock. An alignment plate aligns the die to help prevent cross threading. The plate also improves the strength of the die compared to standard fixed hex dies. 

The right hand self-aligning hex dies restore external threads on metal and plastic parts in general purpose threading applications. When space is limited, they can be used with a wrench or socket. Die thickness: 3/8". Hex size: 1".
