The Klen Tools 63045 32" Utility Cable Cutter features shear-type replaceable hook-jaw blades to grab and hold cables and offers shear-cutting action for clean cuts. The cutting tool has jaws are made of forged tool steel with a black oxide finish and includes exceptionally strong fiberglass handles with heavy vinyl grips. It has beveled tips for positive mating, a hinge bolt with pin-set nut for proper blade tension and heavy-duty pins in the head to serve as blade-stops. This lightweight utility cable cutter is not designed for ACSR. It has a soft cable cutting maximum capacity of 1-3/4" diameter as well as a maximum cable capacity of 1000MCM copper and 1200MCM aluminum. Overall length is 32" and weight is 8 lbs.
