It features a simple one-hand operation, a single speed ratchet mechanism and a blade release that allows heavy-duty blades to be opened in mid-cut. Maximum capacity for copper and aluminum is 1000 MCM and 1.75" O.D. for communications cable. The cable cutter is 12" long and weighs 1.75 pounds.
