The BURNDY® MRC840AL HYTOOL Mechanical Rotating Crimp Tool is designed to crimp aluminum compression YA-A and YS-A series of HYLUG and HYLINK non-insulated aluminum terminals and splices from #8 - 4/0AWG. Heat-treated steel jaws are plated to be corrosion resistant and reduce jaw buckling and misalignment.

The BURNDY MRC840 will provide approximately 9,000 crimp cycles. Rotatable die wheel features 9 position color-coded dies with engraved crimp grooves for die index embossment.
