The BURNDY® MRC840 HYTOOL Mechanical Rotating Crimp Tool is designed to crimp copper compression YA and YS series of HYLUG and HYLINK non-insulated copper terminals and splices from #8 - 4/0 AWG. Heat-treated steel jaws are plated to be corrosion resistant and reduce jaw buckling and misalignment.

The MRC840 will provide approximately 9,000 crimp cycles. Rotatable die wheel features 9 position color-coded dies with engraved crimp grooves for die index embossment.
