Fluke 1503 Insulation Resistance Tester
The Fluke® 1503 Insulation Resistance Tester is ideal for many troubleshooting, commissioning and preventative maintenance applications. It measures AC/DC voltage, earth bond resistance on de-energized circuits and insulation resistance. The remote probe makes repetitive or hard-to-reach testing easy. Save battery power with sleep mode and auto power off. Other features provide added user protection. Live circuit detection prevents insulation testing if voltage greater than 30 V is detected. Units have auto-discharge of capacitive voltage and CAT IV 600-V overvoltage category rating.
The 1503 tester is supplied with a remote probe, test leads, test probes, alligator clips, holster and user documentation. This 1.2-pound unit measures 1.97" x 3.94" x 8". One-year warranty.
The battery-powered 1503 insulation resistance tester is compact, rugged, reliable and easy to use. A single memory device contains 32-kB Flash memory and 1-kB RAM. Program code and calibration constants are stored in Flash memory. The test lead zero value is stored in non-volatile Flash memory. Read measurements easily on large, backlit display.
The unit passes 1-meter drop test. Certifications include CSA per standard CSA/CAN C22.2 No. 61010.1-04; TUV per standard IEC/EN 61010-1 2nd Edition. Powered by four AA alkaline batteries (NEDA 15 A or IEC LR6) for at least 1000 insulation tests or 2500 earth-bond resistance measurements.
