The Fluke® 1AC-A1_II VoltAlert Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector is for electricians, maintenance, service, safety personnel and home owners that can quickly test for energized circuits in the workplace or at home. It measures 90 to 1000 volts AC. The tester is easy to use - just touch the tip to a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord. When the tip glows red and the unit beeps, you know there is voltage present.
The VoltAlert comes with 2 AAA batteries and instructions. It weghs 1.5 ounces with batteries and measures 5.75" x .75". One-year warranty.
The VoltAlert 90-1000VAC is a non-contact voltage detector that is designed to help technicians quickly test for live circuits and defective grounds on the factory floor, in the shop or at home without making contact with the wire or circuit. It meets UL and CSA product safety standards for ANSI/ISA and IED1010-1 for CAT3 testers. The surfaces of the VoltAlert are non-conductive and constructed from non-flammable, injection-molded, impact-resistant PVC and ABS. The tester can function at altitudes up to 10,000 feet and within a temperature range from -10° C to 50° C. It is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries.
