Extech EX830 AC/DC Clamp Meter - 1000 Amp Clamp, IR Thermometer
The Extech EX830 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter, with a built-in non-contact infrared thermometer, is ideal for industrial applications. It offers test functions: AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity. The clamp has a jaw opening of 1.7" for conductors up to 750MCM or two 500MCM. The infrared thermometer measures temperature from -58 to 518°F and carries a built-in laser pointer for precision measuring.
The EX830 clamp meter comes with test leads, 9V battery, Type K probe and case.
The Extech EX830 AC/DC clamp-on multimeter features an integrated Infrared thermometer. It takes True RMS measurements and measures AC currents up to 1000A, DC currents up to 1000A, AC voltage up to 600V and resistance up to 40MΩ, capacitance up to 40,000µF, and frequencies up to 4kHz. This clamp meter can also perform continuity, inrush, and diode tests which captures inrush currents and transients at peak hold. The tester has a 4000 count backlit display. It offers data hold, min/max, autorange, and auto power off functions that help users to keep track of their measurements.
