Klein Tools VDV526-200 LAN Scout Jr. 2 Data Cable Tester

The Klein Tools® VDV526-200 LAN Scout Jr. 2 Cable Tester is designed for testing installed or loose data (Shielded or Unshielded; Cat7, Cat6/6A, Cat5E, Cat3) cables terminated with RJ45 connectors, as well as patch cords. It has a 3-button intuitive user interface, large backlit LCD and Auto Power-Off feature (10-minutes in test mode, 60-minutes in tone mode). The tester provides tone on single wire, wire pair or all 8 conductor wires. A multiple style tone generator (solid / warble) requires probe Cat. No. VDV500-123 (not included). Detected faults: Pass, Miswire, Open-Fault, Short-Fault, Split Pair and Shield.

The tester comes in a slip-resistant, rugged housing with Test-n-Map ID remote and replaceable 2x AAA alkaline batteries. Battery life: Active - 80 hours; Standby - 3 years.
