IDEAL 33-856 Coax Cable Tester / RJ11/12 & RJ45 Cable Tester

The IDEAL® 33-856 Multimedia Cable Tester is designed to support a full range of voice (RJ11/RJ12), data (RJ45), and video (coax) cable installations. Quickly verify wiring integrity and assure proper termination's for coax with F-connector interface, test voice with 3 pair USOC and 6-position RJ11/12 and data in shielded and unshielded RJ45 in T568A/B. This device also tests for opens, shorts, miswires, reversals, and split pairs in cables and generates a wiremap to T568A/B standards and identifies voltages on cables. The minimum cable length for testing split pairs is 1 meter (3 feet). The tester carries an integrated tone generator that supports 4 different tones to make fault isolation easier. Results and settings are displayed across a large LCD screen with single-button mode operation and detachable remote stored inside the tester for easy use and application.

The 33-856 coax cable tester comes with a built-in remote, satin RJ11 patchcord, and satin RJ45 patchcord. It uses a 9V alkaline battery that has 150 hours of life with continuous use and 2.5 years on standby.
