Proto J370 Convertible Retaining Ring Pliers, 0.038'' Tip

The Proto J370 Pliers, made of carbon steel with precision ground tips for installing and removing retaining rings, convert from internal to external or vice versa. The pivot screw (patented push button release) is moved to adjacent tapped hole. Use the largest diameter tip that will fit the retaining ring being removed or installed.

The snap-ring pliers have plastic-dipped handles with a double-chamber air cushion grip. The tool comes in a blow-mold carrying case including storage for spare rings. Tip diameter: 0.038". Tip angle: 45°. For min-max bore diameter: 3/8-9/16". The overall length is 5-3/4".
