Klein VDV226-817 Ratcheting Modular Crimper/Stripper Install Kit

The Klein Tools® VDV226-817 Voice/Data/Video Installation Kit features a ratcheting crimper/stripper for cutting, stripping and crimping twisted pair, Ethernet, RJ45 voice and data cables. It is made from steel with a black oxide finish for high performance. The tool has 3 crimping dies, precision ground from high-carbon steel, for 4, 6, and 8-position modular connectors (RJ22, RJ11/RJ12, and RJ45). Full-cycle ratchet mechanism prevents the release of the connector prior to full compression. Included telephone plugs for 1, 2 or 3-line telephones and 8-position/8-contact modular data plugs have thick 50 micro-inch gold plating and 3-pronged contacts with durable housing.

The tool comes with comfortable grips, ratchet safety-release and a blade-guard on cutting and stripping knives. The kit also includes (10) telephone plugs - RJ11 - 6P6C, (10) modular data plugs - RJ45 - CAT5e.
