Klein Tools 87468 Deceleration Unit with Nylon-Webbing Lanyard

The Klein Tools® 87468 Deceleration Unit with attached nylon-webbing lanyard (adjustable up to 3.5ft) is designed solely for use in fall-arrest systems to reduce potential impact in positioning, suspension, or retrieval applications. It has 2 drop-forged steel, corrosion-resistant Klein-Lok locking snap-hooks with 11/16" (17 mm) throat opening. The durable and abrasion-resistant 1" (25 mm) wide orange lanyard, impregnated with resin, is ideal when the worker is often turning or moving around (webbing will not reverse-twist). It features overlapped nylon webbing which is heavily cross-stitched together with nylon thread and sewn into a protective break-away jacket.

This protective connecting device is certified and compliant with ANSI and CSA requirements. A red warning label inside the protective break-away jacket will identify a used lanyard and direct the disposal of the unit. Overall length: 6' (1.8m). Weight: 2.3lb (1kg).
