Jonard Tools MS-316 Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool, 2.9-6.8mm

The Jonard Tools® MS-316 is an easy-to-use and versatile tool for ringing or slitting simplex, loose tube and distribution fiber optic cables. It will remove a thin wall jacket without causing damage to the buffer tubes inside. The MS-316 offers both slitting and ringing blades, 5 precision slitting grooves and 5 ring grooves, marked with the cable size (2.9-3.6mm/ 3.6-4.4mm/ 4.4-5.2mm/ 5.2-6.0mm/ 6.0-6.8mm). The arrow on the top indicates the pulling direction for longitudinal cut, on the opposite side - rotation for radial cut, and the line indicates the blade location. Each blade is good for making up to 5,000 slits/cuts.

The MS-316 slit and ring tool measures 2.87" (73 mm) x 1.5" (38 mm) x 2.1" (53.5 mm) and weighs 0.25 lbs (0.11 kg).

The patented MS-316 Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool is designed to provide easy access to optical fibers in outer jackets and buffer tubes.

Incorporated a ring feature in the tool
Five precision slitting grooves and 5 precision ring grooves ranging in size from 2.9 mm to 6.8 mm
One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts and the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut)
