Franklin CGS3-AMM-WD Wired CELLGUARD Sensor Address Modifier
The Franklin Electric Grid Solutions CGS3-AMM-WD Sensor Module Address Modifier is used to address string and battery sensors. It is an accessory for the CELLGUARD™ Wired Battery Monitoring System (BMS). For operation 3 AA batteries are required (not included).
Addressing battery sensors, make sure the sensors are secured on the batteries, and confirm the power light in the lower left corner is green. Connect the connector wire to the Address Modifier and COM1 of the sensor, press the up and down arrow to change the address.
The default string sensor address is 241, there is no need to change it if monitoring only one battery string. Choose an address from 241-246 for monitoring more battery strings.
IMPORTANT: Sensors will not address if the cable is connected to COM2. Make sure only the Address Modifier is connected to the sensor when you attempt to address the sensor.
