Franklin CGBC-350-HWD CELLGUARD Base Coordinator Unit, Wired

The Franklin Electric Grid Solutions CGBC-350-HWD Base Coordinator Unit (BCU) is used in the CELLGUARD™ Wired Battery Monitoring System (BMS) to provide 24/7 monitoring and analysis of 2V, 6V or 12V battery performance. It is ideal for mission-critical DC power plants - UPS, data center, rail/subway, airport, telco, fire and safety systems. Battery sensors are hard-wired for uninterrupted communication, perfect for applications where high electromagnetic noise is present. The unit utilizes CONVERGE™ web interface setup tool, manages 6 strings max, 300 cells on one string max, 360 cells on a module max. Battery discharge events are recorded automatically. You can set and modify measurement/alarm parameters and thresholds locally or remotely.

The BCU provides real-time system data through the web based UNITE™ data management software. It communicates via RS485, Ethernet, MODBUS/RTU, MODBUS/TCP, and SNMP protocols.
