Franklin CGBC-350 CELLGUARD Base Coordinator Unit, Wireless

The Franklin Electric Grid Solutions CGBC-350 Base Coordinator Unit (BCU) is used in the CELLGUARD™ Wireless Battery Monitoring System (BMS) to provide battery state-of-health monitoring and analysis of battery voltage, temperature, and conductance. It supports up to 16 strings with 1-300 batteries per string, and up to 600 sensors per BCU (irrespective of how they are divided by strings). The unit features network/ DNP3 communications, embedded internal web server, field upgradable software, two ambient temperature sensors, and external alarm dry contacts.

The CELLGUARD wireless base coordinator unit with webserver and Modbus (Ethernet TCP/IP UDP) allows string voltage capture (sum of batteries), remote network configuration, discharge data collection and reporting to CELLTRAQ™ Battery Management Software at scheduled frequency. It is powered by the battery string voltage converter via battery string power.
