Fluke Networks NFC-SWABS-1.25MM LC/MU 1.25mm Port Cleaning Swabs
The Fluke Networks NFC-SWABS-1.25MM contains 25 LC and MU port cleaning swabs, ideal for 1.25 mm bulkheads and tight spaces. Lint-free material enables optimal wet/dry cleaning sequence. Use them with solvent to ensure all fiber end-faces are clean before every mating. This combination eliminates contamination and fiber link failure.
The Fluke Networks NFC-SWABS-1.25MM swabs may be used with the NFC-Cube cleaning cube. After pulling a clean wipe from the cube, apply a small spot of solvent to starting edge of wipe. Touch swab to wet spot on wipe for 3 seconds to absorb a minimal amount of solvent. A damp swab works better than a wet one. Applying solvent from pen directly to swab would use excessive solvent. Insert swab into port and turn several times while applying gentle pressure. Follow damp swab with dry one, using same procedure to remove any remaining solvent from end-face and alignment sleeve.
