The Fluke Networks® MicroScanner2 is a handheld cable verifier that is used primarily for verifying that the integrity of various types of cable networks meet industrial standards. However, unlike other cable verifiers, the MicroScanner2 has defies conventional standards by adding on a series of innovations such as its progressive interface which displays wiremap, pair lengths, distance to fault, cable ID, and far-end devices collectively on one screen. It is compatible with an assortment of different connectors with a built-in RJ11, RJ45 and coax support. The main unit and far-end identifiers may be used to test telephone jacks, Ethernet jacks and CATV outlets for the presence of telephone voltage, polarity, far-end switch, and PoE availability.
This cable verifier features built-in IntelliTone digital and analog toning to locate any cable or wire pair with spot-on precision, regardless of the user's work setting. The MicroScanner2 can either be used in digital mode to locate high-grade data cabling (CAT 5e/6/6a) or in analog mode on voice-grade cabling (CAT 3 and below) as well as coax, security/alarm and speaker wiring.
The Fluke Networks' IntelliTone™ 200 Probe uses the latest digital signal technology to address common problems that come up in installing, maintaining, changing and troubleshooting datacom and telecom networks when used with the IntelliTone™ 200 Toner. The IntelliTone 200 Probe includes smart digital signal processing that rejects noise and false signals. This probe uses audible and visual signal identification to simplifies cable location.
The IntelliTone 200 can be used to diagnose a wide assortment of networks such as POTS and Ethernet using essential cable information including polarity and continuity. Additionally, unlike its counterpart, the IntelliTone 100 Probe, the IntelliTone 200 Probe features a special CABLEMAP capability that allows it to identify common cable miswires in twisted pair cabling.
