Fluke 289 True RMS Digital Multimeter, Data Logging Multimeter
The Fluke® 289 True RMS Digital Multimeter is an industrial data logging multimeter designed to solve problems in electronics, plant automation, power distribution, and electro-mechanical equipment. It supports Fluke Connect communication, enabled by the ir3000 FC Fluke Connect infrared connector. The DMM offers TrendCapture which displays logged data graphically, Min/Max/Average modes with time stamp to record signal fluctuations, zoom on trend up to 14 times, Low Pass filter and LoZ Volts. This multimeter measures AC & DC voltage, current up to 20 A (30 seconds momentary, 10 A continuous), resistance, capacitance, frequency, continuity (with the beeper) and temperature. It can store up to 15,000 recorded events in its internal memory.
The 289 digital multimeter comes with TL71 silicone test leads, probe holder, two AC72 alligator clips, Amp jack plug set, six AA installed batteries, and manual. This 2.3-pound DMM measures 8.75" x 4.03" x 2.38". Limited lifetime warranty.
Add the ir3000 FC Wireless Connector (045X967, sold separately) to the Fluke 289 and get all the benefits of the Fluke Connect app.
The Fluke 289 True RMS Digital Logging Multimeter with TrendCapture is designed to meet the challenges of modern testing and installation applications. It is compatible with the Fluke Connect™, the wireless test and measurement system featuring TrendIt™ graphs to show changes in measurements, EquipmentLog™ history, ShareLive™ video calls to share measurements instantly with your team, AutoRecord™ measurements and Fluke Cloud™ storage. The Fluke Connect mobile app is available for Android™ (4.3 and up) and iOS (4s and later) and works with over 20 different Fluke products.
This DMM has a large 50,000-count 1/4 VGA 320 x 240 dot matrix LCD with a white backlight, TrendCapture, Low Pass filter for accurate voltage and frequency measurements, plus low impedance voltage function (LoZ Volts) for eliminating ghost voltages. TrendCapture plots measurements as a single line to help detect anomalies over time. It allows the user to view logged readings graphically on the meter without having to download logged readings to a PC to detect a trend. Internal memory enables stand-alone logging for up to 180 hours. AC bandwidth is specified to 100 kHz. The 289 tests on a two-terminal 50-Ω range with a 1-mΩ resolution. CAT III 1000-V/CAT IV 600-V rated.
