The Fluke 116 True-RMS DMM has the functions HVAC/R installers and contractors need to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and flame sensor problems quickly. It features a built-in thermometer with -40° to 752° F/-40° to 400° C temperature range and microamps. Measure superheat and subcooling. Detect problems like a clogged filter dryer, undercharge, overcharge, faulty metering device or improper airflow and liquid line restriction or insufficient water flow. Troubleshoot the defrost control on a heat pump. Check air coil temperature. Confirm when defrost cycle starts and ends. Take temperature surveys. Test out compressor heads, oil sumps, evaporator coils and suction lines, discharge lines, condenser coils and the liquid line.
