VIAVI FIT-82P01-PRO SmartClass Power Meter & Microscope Kit
The VIAVI (formerly JDSU) FIT-82P01-PRO SmartClass Fiber Power Meter & Microscope Kit integrates fiber inspection, testing and certification into one easy to use tool. It has automated pass/fail analysis, 2 USB ports to connect additional devices and has calibrated wavelength ranges from 780 to 1625nm. This smartphone-style device has a touch screen and comprehensive data management and report generator.
The FIT-82P01-PRO kit contains the OLP-82, soft carry case, power supply for SmartClass Fiber, FiberChekPRO software, USB cable, user instructions, dry batteries, P5000i Digital Inspection Microscope, inspection tips, 1.25 mm OPM adapter, cleaning materials, hands-free SmartClass Fiber carrier, rechargeable battery for SmartClass Fiber, and a FFL-050 Visual Fault Locator with adapters.
The VIAVI FIT-82P01-PRO SmartClass Fiber Power Meter & Microscope Kit features a portable OPM unit along with a fiber inspection microscope for a complete fiber testing solution. The included OLP-82 power meter can measure wavelengths between 780 to 1650 nm with 850, 980, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, and 1625 nm calibrated levels and can measure power from a range of -65 to +23 dBm with only ± 0.06dB uncertainty. This device can also perform automated pass/fail analysis for inspection and testing with a single button push and is easily capable of generating certification reports according to industry or user-defined standards. It has onboard storage of up to 10,000 measurement results which are exportable to a PC through a USB interface and can be managed using FiberChekPRO software. The OLP-82 contains an integrated PCM which is capable of both a low and high magnification FOV mode. It uses an interactive touchscreen with live 320x240 video display to help the user quickly manipulate functions and data.
This power meter is built with rugged, weather-proof design and utilizes normal alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Additional devices can also be attached via two USB ports on the device. The rechargeable batteries allow for 8 hours of run time while the alkaline batteries can power the device for 5 hours. 1-year warranty.
