The EXFO PPM-352C-EI-EUI-91 Extended Range PON Power Meter SC is a device that has been designed to test all types of PON signals and is configured to deal with BPON, EPON and GPON. This easily portable power meter has two-port pass-through configurations that allow it to take measurements at wavelengths of 1310/1490/1550 nm and create an immediate analysis of the level of power in the network. The test results are downloadable through USB interface.
The PPM-352C features 10 configurable threshold sets including downstream OLT signal, and downstream RF video signal. The FTTx Mode for the meter measures power 25 to -40 dB with a pass through insertion loss of 1.5dB and a power uncertainty of 0.5dB. The PPM-352C also has the ability to display all readings simultaneous on its LCD screen, use pass/warning/fail LED indicators to signal problems, and allows for easy customization of OLT, ONT and location names. The enhanced rugged and weatherproof design makes it a reliable tool for working outdoors in any weather conditions.
