This optical power meter is capable of running high power tests on both CATV and Telecommunication applications with Enterprise/LAN for singlemode and multimode measurements. This device has a power range of 26 to -50 dBm with a total of five calibrated wavelengths and a resolution of 0.01 dB. The EPM-53X is capable of performing tone recognition for fiber identification and carries a reference function that can be utilized for direct loss measurements. With a power uncertainty of 5%, an FC connector type, and an overall battery life of over 300 hours, the EXFO EPM-53X is the ideal testing device for making accurate measurements on power installations in the field.
