AFL OPM4-34-0900PR Optical Power Meter
The AFL OPM4-34-0900PR is a handheld optical power meter designed for measuring optical power in Premises, Telco, or Broadband networks and for performing insertion loss measurements on multimode or single mode fiber optic links. It is capable of operating at wavelengths 850, 980, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625 nm.
The optical power meter comes with 2x AA batteries, protective rubber boot, user's guide, and carry case. A universal 2.5mm adapter cap (for SC, FC and ST connectors) is included. It fits SC, FC and ST connectors. This 9-ounce meter is 5.5" x 3.2" x 1.5". Five-year warranty.
The OPM4-34-0900PR multimode/single mode optical power meter is a full-featured palm-sized device, designed for the higher power level requirements of long-range amplified optical spans used in CATV and DWDM networks. It offers a Wave ID feature that automatically detects and sets the wavelength(s), preventing setup and measurement errors when used with OLS series light sources. It will significantly increase efficiency and reduce the possibility of error by eliminating the need to test each wavelength individually. The OPM4 also stores optical references for each calibrated wavelength and offers multiple test tone detection for fiber identification.
Specifications include: filtered InGaAs detector, +26 to -50 dBm measurement range plus 850, 980, 1310, 1480, 1550, 1625 wavelengths. To conserve power, the meter shuts down automatically if no key is selected for approximately 5 minutes. It is fully NIST traceable, rugged, and will provide years of accurate measurements.
