The AFL SMLP-55-0909PR Optical Loss Test Set combines the OPM5-2D optical power meter and OLS4 integrated LED and laser light source and is ideally suited for testing fiber networks with hybrid (single mode and multimode) cables.
The test kit includes: OLS4 optical light source with FC connections & OPM5-2D optical power meter, AA batteries, protective rubber boots, FC adapter cap, USB cable, software and user's guide, 50 and 62.5-µm mandrels, SMLP5-5 user's guide, and carry case. This 4-pound kit is 12" x 12" x 5". One-year warranty.
The SMLP-55-0909PR FC Multimode/Single Mode Test Kit is complete with Wave ID and Data Storage. Test fiber optic networks with hybrid (single mode and multimode) cables using OLS4 integrated LED/laser light source and OPM5-2D optical power meter. The light source features 850- and 1300-nm LED output from MM output port plus 1310- and 1550-nm laser output from SM port. Outputs are stabilized to ensure accurate test results per current TIA/EIA requirements. The power meter offers Wave ID automatic wavelength identification and switching when used with the OLS4 light source. Use 270-Hz, 330-Hz, 1-kHz and 2-kHz multiple test tone detection for fiber identification. The meter with large, dual-wavelength LCD and backlight stores optical references for each calibrated wavelength. Store up to 500 records per wavelength of power or insertion loss measurements in internal non-volatile memory. Using the supplied Windows® compatible software and USB connection, these test records may be transferred to a PC for storage, display, analysis and printing.
