Jonard MS-836 RocketRibbon Mid Span Slit/Ring Tool, 11.6-22.6mm

The Jonard Tools® MS-836 Slitter and Ring Tool is specifically designed to perform a ring or slit cut and provide access to optical ribbon fibers in Corning's RocketRibbon® cables. It will remove a wall jacket without causing damage to the ribbon fibers inside. The MS-836 offers both slitting and ringing blades, 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 precision ring grooves, marked with the cable size (11.6-12.0mm/ 14.5-14.9mm/ 16.8-17.2mm/ 22.2-22.6mm). One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts and the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut). Indicator line on top of the unit indicates the position of the blade for accurate slitting and ringing. Blades last for 5,000 slits or rings.

The slitter and ring tool measures 5.1" x 3.6" x 1.4" (13 cm x 9.1 cm x 3.6 cm) and weighs 0.69 lbs (311 g).
