Corning UAT3-000 Cable/Fiber Mid Span Access Tool, 5mm-24mm

The Corning UAT3-000 Universal Access Tool is compatible with single-tube fiber optic cables with outside diameters of 5 mm to 24 mm. It will quickly and safely access one or more fibers, without disturbing the continuity of other fibers. Drop cables can be spliced without disturbing working traffic. Follow the instructions to adjust the blades - make or verify initial and final blade depth adjustments. The tool features a unique drive mechanism that easily pulls it along the tube as the T-handle is turned. The conical shape of the rollers will "self-center" the tube in the tool. As the tool passes down a length of tube, two blades on opposite sides score the outside of the tube.

The UAT3-000 access tool comes with a T-handle, plastic gauge card, 3/8" open-end wrench, small screwdriver, replacement blades (4), replacement springs (2), operating manual and carrying case.
