Jonard Tools RST-8514 Riser Cable Slitting Tool
The Jonard Tools® RST-8514 Mid-Span Cable Slitter is used to provide access to optical fibers in round FTTH riser cables and microducts. It will easily slit cables from 0.33" to 0.55" (8.5mm-14mm) in diameter.
The RST-8514 slitting cutter measures 4" x 1.5" x .625" (101.6mm x 38.1mm x 15.8mm) and weighs 0.201 lbs (91.17g). Replacement slitting blades RST-RB25 054x660 are available in a package of 25 pieces.

Designed to shave a longitudinal access window in round FTTH riser cables and microducts for mid-span access. This riser slitting tool is perfect for making access windows on cables 8 to 14 mm (0.33” to 0.55”) in diameter without damaging the fiber inside. This tool features the following:
- Lightweight and narrow body can access closely spaced and surface mounted cables
- High carbon steel blade slices through any type of FTTH cable
- Factory-fixed blade requires no adjustments when working with different diameter cables
- Replaceable blades can be purchased separately (054X625 RST-RB25 replacement blades)
