Corning 8300-W1K-S Single Mode SC Hot Melt Connector for 125µm fiber, 250/900µm jacketed cable features a zirconia ceramic ferrule with <0.2 dB typical loss for single mode fiber. It is specifically designed for ease of termination in local area networks. Pre-loaded with advanced re-heatable adhesive, this connector allows fiber repositioning and shows blue dot of adhesive after fiber insertion. It has no internal splice. No need for epoxy mixing. The termination time is about 2 minutes.
