The Jonard Tools® TK-285 Fusion Splicer Cleaning Kit offers all tools and necessary items for removing the dust, dirt, debris, and silica deposits generated by fusion splicers. 100% cotton cleaning swabs remove contamination from V-grooves. Lint-free polyester wipes are perfect for cleaning bare fiber and connector end-faces. A fiber optic eyeloop with X3, X6, and X9 magnification levels is used for inspecting V-grooves or fiber end faces. Nonflammable fiber cleaning fluid provides a superior performance, evaporates quicker than IPA and dissipates electrostatic charges. Ultra-bright 300 lm LED headlamp with a motion sensor allows hands-free lighting - just wave your hand to effortlessly turn the light on or off. A double-ended brush cleans the built-up acrylate coating in V-grooves.
