The EXFO FBK-53 Test kit includes the EPM-53 power meter, ELS-50-23BL light source, ELS-50-23BL light source, carrying case, PMA-54 and PMA-32 power meter adapters, LSA-91 and LSA-90 light source adapters, soft pouch, FC connector adapters for both the power meter and light source, rubber boots, InGaAs detector, 1310/1550 nm laser, and 850/1300 nm LED. The EXFO FiberBasix FBK-53 LAN testing kit combines the EPM-53 Optical Power Meter, ELS-50-12C MM light source, and ELS-50-23BL SM light source. The power meter is capable of running high power tests on both CATV and Telecommunication applications with Enterprise/LAN for single mode and multimode measurements. This device has a power range of 10 to -60 dBm with a total of five calibrated wavelengths and a resolution of 0.01 dB. The EPM-53 is capable of performing tone recognition for fiber identification and carries a reference function that can be utilized for direct loss measurements. With a power uncertainty of 5%, an FC connector type, and an overall battery life of over 300 hours, the EXFO EPM-53 is the ideal testing device for making accurate measurements on power installations in the field.

This device can measure at central wavelengths of 1310 and 1550 nm with a spectral width 5 nm, an output power of -5 dBm, and power stability of 0.10 dB.
