Draka 20021562 Fiber Optic Buffer Tube Midspan Access Tool Kit

The Draka 20021562 Tool Kit features a Prysmian's ezACCESS Buffer Tube Midspan Access Tool that works efficiently on loose buffer tubes, providing quick and easy access to optical fibers. Positive control of cutting depth protects fibers from damage. Precision-ground blade and special inserts hold buffer tube firmly in place in shaving channel. This ensures cutting of tube wall only and not fibers. The tool has a thick-gauge steel alloy construction and a hardshell case for years of continuous field use. It supports up to 10 insert sizes for buffer tubes from 1.5 mm to 3 mm with 12 and 24 fibers per tube. No calibration required.

The tool kit includes the buffer tube access tool, fiber spatula, spare socket head screw, allen wrench, spare blade and three inserts (2.5 mm/12 fiber, 2.7 mm/12 fiber, 3 mm/12 fiber) in a carrying case. The 2-pound kit measures 9" x 10.5" x 2".
