Cementex TCK-101 Insulated Telecommunications Tool Kit, 16-Piece
The Cementex TCK-101 High Voltage Telecommunications Tool Kit features double-insulated tools that are tested to 10,000 volts and rated for use up to 1000 VAC and 1500 VDC. This functional and versatile telecom repair kit offers 16 tools:

These tools feature two separate layers of insulation for twice the protection. A YELLOW under coat is covered by an ORANGE over coating to create a high-voltage barrier. The impact-resistant, flame-retardant insulation provides protection against flashover, shock, burns and dropped tool shorts. It prevents dangerous accidents and injury that can occur with standard tools. Always use insulated tools as a secondary source of protection, not in place of personal protective equipment. Whenever possible, de-energize lines and equipment before working on or around them.
Every tool should be inspected prior to each use for cracks, cuts or any other apparent damage. The two-color insulation simplifies spotting a coating that is damaged and out of compliance. If the YELLOW under layer becomes visible through the ORANGE outer layer, the tool is no longer safe for hot work use and should be replaced. This extra layer of insulation provides an extra level of protection.
