One-hand tool operation produces precision cuts quickly and easily without the use of a hammer. It prevents snags and pulls, eliminating the risk of damage to customers' property. Because the tool cuts carpet and padding cleanly, it doesn't leave any loose strands that could result in the dreaded snowball effect, the creation of a ball of fiber at the end of the drill. Replaceable carpet plugs ensure a perfect fit should the drop location change.

The knurled ergonomic handle improves grip and performance. This tool's serrated blade is made from hardened steel for long life, and a safety cap protects the blade when not in use. The carpet cutter with 3/8" hole size includes blade with plastic cap and hex key.
