Amprobe 15XP-B Digital Multimeter
The Amprobe 15XP-B Digital Multimeter includes a logic tester feature to detect and display the presence of TTL pulses up to 20 MHz, DC voltage to 1000 V, AC voltage to 750 V, fused Dc and AC current to 10 A, wide resistance range to 2000 MW, high-speed continuity beeper and diode testing.
The 15XP-B includes test leads, 9 volt battery, holster and instructions. The 8-ounce meter measures 6.1" x 2.8" x 1.3". One-year warranty.
This rugged, reliable field service meter is small in size and low in cost, yet it offers many additional outstanding features. It has the largest LCD digits in its class. The 3.5-digit, .67" high numerals let you read your measurement values easily from a distance. An incorrect input warning indicates if a test lead is plugged into a current jack. The Function/Range switch is not set to take a current measurement - this is a safety feature designed to warn the user of possible misuse of the meter. Safety test leads have probe tips shrouded with insulation to expose only 3.5 mm of metal for probing. It allows you to take measurements safely in dense component areas without causing shorts with long exposed test lead tips.
