The AFL S014397 Splicer V-Groove Cleaning Kit is an effective inspection and cleaning solution for any fusion splicer, particularly when splicing with a fixed v-groove fusion splicer. It is used to remove environmental contaminants such as dust, dirt, debris and silica deposits generated during the fusion process from v-groove surfaces which can offset fibers and degrade performance.
