AFL OPM4-32-0900PR Optical Power Meter
The AFL OPM4-32-0900PR is a handheld optical power meter designed for measuring optical power in Premises, Telco, or Broadband networks and for performing insertion loss measurements on multimode or single mode fiber optic links. It is calibrated at 850, 1300, 1310 and 1550 nm.
The optical power meter is supplied with 2x AA batteries, protective rubber boot, user's guide, and carry case. A universal 2.5mm adapter cap is included. It fits SC, FC and ST connectors. The 9-ounce meter measures 5.5" x 3.2" x 1.5". Five-year warranty.
The compact and easy-to-use OPM4-32-0900PR is a full-featured palm-sized optical power meter. This fully N.I.S.T traceable single mode and multimode unit is exceptionally durable and will provide years of accurate measurements. It is capable of Wave ID, multiple test Tone detection for fiber identification, and optical reference storage for calibrated wavelength. A reference value can be set for each wavelength and is saved in memory. Turning the OPM4-2D on and off, changing wavelengths, switching between dBm and dB and even replacing the battery do not affect stored references.
Specifications include: Germanium detector, +6 to -60 dBm measurement range plus 850, 1300, 1310 and 1550 wavelengths. Automatic shut-off feature conserves power by turning off meter after 5 minutes of non-use.
