AFL OFI-BIPM Optical Fiber Identifier w/ Integrated Power Meter

The AFL OFI-BIPM Optical Fiber Identifier features up to 3 tones detection and an integrated optical power meter (1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm), which is used for power levels verification. The applications include troubleshooting network issues, identification of live fiber and transmission direction on any single mode and multimode fibers, including bend insensitive fiber, up to 12 ribbon fiber, and 1.1 mm/1.5 mm, 1.7 mm/2.0 mm & 3.0 mm jacketed fiber. The optical fiber identifier has an ONU function. It offers a 2.4" color touchscreen with backlight, brightness & buzzer volume control, plus trigger lock. The positive stop plunger mechanism provides optimum detection and prevents traffic interruption, as well as fiber damage. The wavelength range is from 900 to 1700 nm.

The OFI-BIPM kit includes one 2.5mm universal power meter port adapter. No need to change an adapter head for jacketed, coated, or ribbon fibers.
