AEMC 2135.23 Model 4630 Digital Ground Resistance Tester Kit
The AEMC 4630 Digital Tester Kit (Catalog Number 2135.23) performs ground resistance testing and soil resistivity tests. It measures from 0 to 2000Ω and is auto-ranging. The meter can be used for continuity tests on bonding and provides results in three simple steps: connecting the tester, pressing the button for the appropriate test, and reading off the result. LED readout on faceplate informs operator of high-input noise, high auxiliary rod resistance and fault connections.
The 4630 testing kit includes two 300' color-coded leads on spools, two 100' color-coded leads, four 16" auxiliary ground electrodes, 16' lead with Mueller clip, 100' tape measure, 9.6-V 3.5-Ah NiMH rechargeable batteries and AC power cord, ground workbook, carrying bag and user manual. This 7.75-pound unit measures 9.45" x 7.28" x 4.33". One-year warranty.
The AEMC 4630 Rechargeable Digital Ground Resistance Tester Kit features a four-point digital meter and subsequent accessories. It uses two- and three-point fall-of-potential methods to measure ground resistance and a four-point method measures soil resistivity. The tester offers step voltage tests and touch potential measurements. It is designed to reject high levels of interference, so they can be used under difficult conditions such as high stray currents that normally affect accuracy.
This meter utilizes rechargeable 9.6-V 3.5-Ah NiMH batteries that allow the 4630 to be used constantly, even while recharging. Rugged, dustproof and rainproof field case features color-coded terminals. It exceeds mechanical and safety specifications for shock, vibration and drop tests called out in IEC standards.
